Presidential Debate Season Starts Tonight As Dems Battle In Miami
(Miami, FL) — The presidential debate season starts tonight with Democrats battling in Miami. Ten of the Democratic candidates will debate tonight and ten will be on the stage tomorrow night. Both debates air at nine o’clock, Eastern time on NBC networks. Massachusetts Democrat Elizabeth Warren will have the center stage position tonight. The positioning is based on an average of polling among the candidates. On either side of Warren will be former Texas Congressman Beto O’Rourke and New Jersey Senator Cory Booker.
Former Housing Secretary Julian Castro and Minnesota Senator Amy Klobuchar have the spots next to Booker and O’Rourke. Rounding out the field are Ohio Congressman Tim Ryan, Hawaii Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard, Washington state Governor Jay Inslee, New York Mayor Bill DeBlasio and former Maryland Congressman John Delaney. Tomorrow night’s debate features former VP Joe Biden, Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders, California Senator Kamala Harris and South Bend, Indiana Mayor Pete Buttigieg.
Other Democrats on the stage tomorrow night will be New York Senator Kirsten Gillibrand, former Colorado Governor John Hickenlooper, Colorado Senator Michael Bennett, California Congressman Eric Swalwell, self-help author Marianne Williamson and businessman Andrew Yang.
