Man Accused Of Shooting, Killing Fulton County Deputy Charged With Murder
(Lewiston, IL) — The man accused of shooting and killing Fulton County Deputy Troy Chisum is being charged with murder. Nathan Woodring made his first court appearance yesterday. He could face a minimum of 20 years in prison if convicted of first-degree murder. Chisum was shot while responding to a battery and disturbance call Tuesday. Woodring was arrested Wednesday morning after a nearly 20-hour standoff.
