Events Mark Moon Landing Anniversary
(Undated) — NASA has a full week of events planned to mark the golden anniversary of the moon landing. Tomorrow morning, astronauts Buzz Aldrin and Michael Collins will return to the Florida launch pad where they set off on their adventure 50 years ago.
Other events include a special light show on the National Mall involving the Washington Monument and there’s a unique corn maze in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. And in Wapakoneta, Ohio, the hometown of the late Neil Armstrong, the Air & Space Museum will mark the 50th anniversary with programs that coincide with the city’s Summer Moon Festival.
