Governor Pritzker Signs Bill To Help Substitute Teacher Shortage
(Springfield, IL) — A newly signed bill could help school districts deal more effectively with the substitute teacher shortage. Governor Pritzker signed a bill yesterday that streamlines background checks for substitute teachers. The new law will let regional education offices share background information on subs with Illinois school districts.
