(Undated) — School teachers are about to get a hands-on lesson in guns. Today nearly 300 gun shops across the country will take part in “National Train a Teacher Day.” The stores will provide free training and safety programs. It’s part of an annual movement by pro-gun groups trying to expand the use of firearms in schools. Fourteen states currently allow armed teachers in the classroom. At least four other states are preparing to do the same or at least loosen restrictions.
