Attorney General Provides Information On Equifax Settlement
(Springfield, IL) — Illinois Attorney General Kwame Raoul is announcing information regarding the settlement with Equifax for a data breach. The A.G.’s office says the state of Illinois will get over seven-million dollars as part of the settlement. Raoul said the data breach affected millions of Illinoisans, who will be able to access a national restitution fund of up to 425-million dollars. Claims can be filed after a judge approves the settlement.
