Midstate College To Permanently Close Next Month
(Peoria, IL) — Midstate College is permanently closing next month. The Peoria-area college is shutting down operations August 14th after 130 years in the community. The college’s president and CEO Meredith Bunch says the decision to close was made Friday and that it was announced to students in an email Monday. Bunch says the school had hoped to pair with another educational institution, but that fell through. School officials are working on transfer arrangements with educational partners.
