Libraries Get Innovative Technology Through State Grant
(Springfield, IL) — A state grant is allowing libraries in Illinois to use and offer innovative technology. Project Next Generation is providing nearly 465-thousand dollars in grants to libraries across the state. The goal of the program is to pair at-risk youth with mentors who will provide guidance and introduce new technology. The funds have been used on everything from teaching kids how to make their own videos to virtual reality gear and 3D printing technology.
