Fayette Co. Accident Leads to Medical Airlift for Two Victims

Two St. Elmo men were flown to St. John’s Hospital in Springfield following an accident in Fayette County last night.  According to the Illinois State Police, 52-year old Joe Sidwell and 37-year old Erik Nohren were traveling south, about five miles from Ramsey, when the vehicle went off the road, overturned twice and came to rest on its roof.  The crash remains under investigation.
