The Mattoon to Peoria St. Jude Run team is closing in on Peoria.
Over 115 runners and volunteers left Riddle Elementary, yesterday morning (August 2) at 8am for the 148 mile relay run to Peoria. When the team left, they had raised over $188,000 for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
As of 11:20am on Saturday, August 3, the team has less than 20 miles to run into Peoria and are currently at $198,278 in donations.
