President Donald Trump has issued a proclamation stating that all public American Flags shall be flown at half-staff to honor the fallen victims of recent shootings. The two shootings came on August 3rd in El Paso, Texas, and on August 4th in Dayton, Ohio. President Trump also made it a point that this shall take immediate affect, and that flags will fly at half-staff until sunset on August 8th. Between the two shootings, several have passed, while multiple injuries have been reported as well. As a nation we mourn these horrific events, and wish the victim’s families the best.
