Woman Suffers Head Shot In Decatur
(Decatur, IL) — Decatur police are investigating after a woman was shot in the back of the head Sunday morning. Officers say the 34-year-old was at Decatur Memorial Hospital around 4 a.m. with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to her head. The woman told police that she was sitting in her car on 1200 East Leafland Avenue when another vehicle drove up and fired at least three shots at her, prompting her to drive herself to the hospital after she felt blood on her head.
