AG Rules DCFS Improperly Withheld Information
(Springfield, IL) — The Office of the Attorney General is ruling that the Illinois DCFS improperly withheld information from a news station. The station asked DCFS in April for the names of employees who had their Child Welfare employee licenses taken away or have pending charges in the 2018 fiscal year. The Illinois Attorney General has also ruled that DCFS can withhold information on pending charges until a final decision is made.
