Blagojevich Remains In Prison
(Undated) — Former Illinois governor Rod Blagojevich remains in prison despite talks he could be released by President Trump. The president told reporters last week that he was strongly considering commuting Blagojevich’s 14-year sentence. The next day, Trump tweeted that White House staff was reviewing the matter. Blagojevich has already served over seven years for federal corruption charges, including trying to sell Barack Obama’s old U.S. Senate seat.
