New License Plate Will Help Fund Pediatric Cancer Research

(Springfield, IL) — Governor Pritzker is signing a new law creating a new license plate to raise awareness and funds for pediatric cancer. License plate sales will fund treatment and research at the Illinois Cancer Center. The law authorizing the plates was signed in honor of Johnny Wade of Jerseyville, who was eight years old when he died from cancer.
