(Los Angeles, CA) — Actor Peter Fonda, son of legendary Hollywood icon Henry Fonda, is dead at age 79. Fonda’s family confirmed the brother of Jane Fonda died after suffering respiratory failure due to lung cancer. Peter Fonda was best known for the role Wyatt in 1969’s Easy Rider. He also starred in Ulee’s Gold, The Hired Hand, and The Trip.
