Mattoon Community School District’s, Prevention Initiative Birth to 3 Program, is hosting a free car seat check event with the Mattoon Police Department. All Mattoon families with children still inn a car seat or expectant mothers wanting to make sure their car seat is installed properly, are invited to attend this event. The free car seat check is Thursday, September 12th, from 4pm to 6pm in the Circle Drive at Franklin Preschool, at 1201 South 6th Street, in Mattoon.
