Durbin Urges FDA Take Action On Vaping After Illnesses, Deaths
(Chicago, IL) — Senator Dick Durbin is calling on the U.S. Food and Drug Administration to take action on vaping following numerous illnesses and several deaths. The Illinois Democrat said yesterday that the agency needs to “address the public health epidemic” that is especially prevalent among young people. Durbin also sent a letter over the weekend asking the acting FDA Commissioner to take action within ten days to regulate e-cigarettes and vaping products.
