A Shelbyville man was injured in a motorcycle accident near Beecher City yesterday. According to the Illinois State Police, 61-year-old Randy James was traveling on Route 128 when he lost control of the motorcycle, overturned, and came to rest in the roadway. He was taken to HSHS St. Anthony’s Memorial Hospital. Police say a significant amount of an unknown liquid, possibly diesel fuel, was on the roadway, making it slippery.
