Wrongful Death Suit Filed On Behalf Of Coles County Man
(Coles County, IL) — A widow is suing Coles County, the sheriff’s department, and correctional officers on behalf of her late 49-year-old husband. Kimberly Brigham’s wrongful death suit was filed in Urbana on Monday after the January death of James Brigham from a fall from the second floor of the Coles County Courthouse. The suit alleges that negligence by the county, police and correctional officers led to her husband’s death.
