According to Illinois State Police, a bus carrying 11 students was southbound along I-32 Friday afternoon when an SUV headed east on County Road 800 North drove into the intersection pulled out in front of the bus. Preliminary details state the bus hit the driver’s side door, both the woman driving and an elementary student were pronounced dead at the scene. More details will be added when information is released.
