Blue Ridge Teachers, Board Still Negotiating
(Farmer City, IL) — The Blue Ridge Federation of Teachers and the Farmer City-based Blue Ridge school board are continuing negotiations to avoid a potential strike. The two sides will meet with a federal mediator for the third time next week. The federation represents teachers, aides, secretaries, drivers, library clerks, cooks, nurses, and custodians. The most recent three-year deal expired on June 30th.
