A Decatur man was seriously injured in a crash Monday night in Coles County. According to the Illinois State Police, a car driven by 24-year-old David Gronski, of Bloomington, Indiana was northbound on I-57 near mile post 183 when he lost control of the vehicle for an unknown reason. The car left the roadway and overturned in the grass median. A passenger, 49-year-old Ricky McDonald suffered serious injuries. The crash remains under investigation.
