Senator Koehler Accepts Money From Company Names In FBI Probe
(Springfield, IL) — Questions are arising over a donation made to state Senator Dave Koehler by a company named in an FBI probe. Bluff City Materials and its owner, the Asphalt King Mike Vondra, were cited in a search warrant served when FBI agents raided the offices of state Senator Martin Sandoval last month. Koehler said yesterday that the company sponsors his golf outing every year. He says he will be holding on to the money pending further developments in the investigation. No one listed in the FBI search warrant has been charged yet with any crimes.
