Family Furious After Kindergarten Girl Sexually Assaulted By Classmate
(Detroit, MI) — The family of a five-year-old girl at Brewer Elementary School in Detroit is furious with the school district over the punishment for one of her classmates for sexually assaulting her. Sandra Kewley says the five-year-old boy forced her granddaughter into a bathroom by threatening her with a pair of scissors and then started to cut her pants and touch her genitals. Kewley says the boy told her granddaughter “let’s do what grown-ups do.” The boy was suspended for two days, and the family pulled the girl out of the class after his return this week.
