Juul Cutting 500 Jobs
(San Francisco, CA) — E-cigarette maker Juul is cutting around 500 jobs by the end of the year. The Wall Street Journal reports the cuts are part of an effort to spend less on marketing and invest more in efforts to keep kids from vaping. The industry has been in the crosshairs in recent months as more and more people have been diagnosed with lung illnesses linked to vaping. The San Francisco-based company employs around four-thousand people.
