A St. Elmo man was killed in a crash west of Effingham, yesterday morning, October 30, 2019. According to the Illinois State Police, a vehicle driven by 19-year-old Seth Reeves was eastbound on Route 40 on the s-curves when he drove into the westbound lane and struck a vehicle driven by 41-year-old Christy Wickline, of Neoga. Reeves died at the scene. Wickline was transported to HSHS St. Anthony’s Memorial Hospital with severe injuries.
