According to a press release from the Illinois State Police, a 25 year old man from Rardin is dead after an accident on Route 130 near the Coles County/Douglas County line, earlier this afternoon, Monday, November 4, 2019. He was driving a Ford Truck, that was northbound on Route 130 when it left the roadway to the right for an unknown reason. The truck then entered back onto the roadway and overturned multiple times. The man was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced deceased on scene. The name of the driver will be release by the Coles County Coroner’s Office once family notification has been made.
All subjects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
