UPDATED: Suspect In London Bridge Attack Is Dead
(London) — The suspect in the London Bridge attack is dead. Police say they can confirm that the attack was terror related. A Metropolitan Police spokesman said the suspect was shot and killed on the bridge. Reports indicate at least five people were injured in the attack, which has been the site of a previous terror attack. Police said there were reports of an explosive device and they have been checking those out.

UPDATED: London Police Say Man Detained After Incident On London Bridge
(London) — London Police say a number of people were injured in a stabbing attack on the London Bridge today. Metropolitan Police say a man is in custody. They did not say how many were injured. A BBC reporter was walking across the bridge and said he saw what looked like a fight taking place. He said several people were trying to restrain a man and that is when armed officers arrived. He said the officers fired shots at the man. The iconic bridge is on lockdown.

London Bridge Put On Lockdown After Shots Fired
(London) — A lockdown of the London Bridge is underway after reports of gunshots being fired. A BBC journalist says he was walking across the bridge and saw a fight taking place. He said police responded and fired shots. Scotland Yard would only say they are dealing with an incident on the bridge.
