Taylorville Commemorates One Year Since EF3 Tornado
(Taylorsville, IL) — Taylorsville is remembering the EF3 tornado that hit the town one year ago. The community came together yesterday to commemorate the anniversary of the disaster. The tornado destroyed hundreds of structures in Taylorville and left dozens injured. City officials say some people are still displaced a year later, even after an outpouring of support from the central Illinois community and around 700-thousand dollars raised for the victims.
