FOID Owners Call For Tighter Regulations
(Springfield, IL) — The Illinois Rifle Association and many Firearm Owner Identification card holders are asking the governor to ensure FOID fees go to where they’re intended to go. The call comes after a study done by the state’s Legislative Research Unit revealed almost 30-million dollars in fees ended up in the state’s general funds. The fees are supposed to be designated for the State Police Services Fund.
