Still No Contract Agreement For Decatur Teaching Assistants
(Macon County, IL) — There is still no contract agreement between the Decatur Public Schools and their teaching assistants. The district Board of Education met with representatives from the Decatur Federation of Teaching Assistants and a federal mediator last Tuesday to continue contract negotiations. Both sides say progress is being made, but there is still no agreement. The next negotiation session is set for January 6th, 2020.
