Sinatra Chandeliers, Clocks And Toilet Up For Auction
(Swedesboro, NJ) — There are fans and then there are really fans that will spend money for a chance to purchase an item at auction that once belonged to Frank Sinatra. On Sunday, S and S Auction in South Jersey will sell off some 200 items that adorned Sinatra’s so-called “Chairman Suite” at Atlantic City’s original Golden Nugget Hotel and Casino. Included in the sale are items from chandeliers, extravagant clocks and a marble toilet with gilded seat. The auction house says one-time Golden Nugget owner Steve Wynn gave Sinatra a blank check to decorate a 23rd floor apartment at the hotel as an enticement to have the star perform exclusively at the Golden Nugget.
If Sinatra’s toilet is not your thing, you can place your backside on the piano bench from the Yamaha baby grand piano that is expected to fetch upward of 20-thousand-dollars.
