WIU To Offer Cannabis Production As Minor This Fall
(Macomb, IL) — Western Illinois University will be offering a Cannabis Production minor beginning this fall. The university’s Faculty Senate approved the new minor at its February 4th meeting. The minor will be offered through WIU’s School of Agriculture, with additional coursework offered through the Department of Biological Sciences. The new minor is intended to assist with developing employees for the new Illinois industry of cannabis production.
