Man Dies After Being Pinned Under Trencher
(Oakland, IL) — Authorities say a man is dead after being pinned under a trencher in Oakland, Illinois. Officials say 59-year-old Robert Lee Jr. worked for the Oakland Street department. Early investigations show Lee may have accidentally knocked the machine into gear and fell forward before the machine rolled over him. There were no witnesses to the incident. An autopsy is scheduled for today. OSHA officials are investigating.
