Blagojevich Thanks Trump In Speech To Media Outside Chicago Home
(Chicago, IL) — Former Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich is thanking President Trump for commuting his prison sentence. Blagojevich spoke outside his Ravenswood home yesterday morning, expressing his gratitude to Trump, calling the president’s decision “an act of kindness.” The 63-year-old left a federal prison in Colorado on Tuesday after serving eight years of a 14-year sentence for political corruption, just hours after his sentence was commuted by Trump.
