The Champaign County Republican Party is expressing concerns after people have reported getting multiple election ballots in the mail. The County Clerk’s office says there are security measures in place to ensure that people can’t vote twice. Illinois law requires every jurisdiction to report their early voting totals to the State Board of Elections. This allows time to cross check and ensure that no one is registered to two different counties. Champaign County results haven’t been recorded. The Illinois primary date is March 17th.
