UPDATE: State Of Emergency In Nashville After Deadly Tornadoes
(Nashville, TN) — A state of emergency is in effect in Nashville after deadly tornadoes ripped through the city. Mayor John Cooper signed an executive order today implementing the state of emergency. It’s designed to help get supplies to those who were impacted by the tornadoes. At least 22 people were killed by the twisters that hit early this morning while most people were asleep.

(Nashville, TN) — At least 22 people are dead and about 140 buildings damaged by the tornadoes that struck in the Nashville area this morning. Tennessee Governor Bill Lee said a number of people are missing and more were injured. He declared the area a state of emergency. President Trump is planning to visit the area Friday to see the damage himself.

(Nashville, TN) — At least five people are dead after tornadoes wreaked havoc in Nashville and nearby parts of Tennessee. At least two tornadoes were reported overnight near downtown and East Nashville, where Metro Police say two people were killed. Another three people were killed to the east in Putnam County. Two Dead After Tennessee Twisters
