U.S. Coronavirus Cases Climbs Past 10,000
(Baltimore, MD) — As testing ramps up for the coronavirus in the U.S., the number of infected are increasing. Johns Hopkins researchers say there are more than ten-thousand confirmed cases of the COVID-19 pandemic here. They report there have been 154 deaths in 22 states. The Baltimore-based hospital said there are ten-thousand-755 cases of the virus in the U.S. That places the U.S. with the sixth most cases out of the 160 nations and regions that have confirmed having it. There have been 68 deaths in Washington state and 20 in New York. California is the only other state with double-digit deaths at 16.
