Indiana Postpones Its Primary Election Because Of Coronavirus Crisis
(Indianapolis, IN) — Indiana is postponing its May 5th primary election nearly a month because of the coronavirus crisis. Republican Governor Eric Holcomb said there was bipartisan agreement to move it to June 2nd for the safety of voters and poll workers. The state joins a half dozen others in delaying the vote because of the COVID-19 pandemic. Holcomb also suspended rules on absentee voting to allow for mail-in voting.
