Surgeon General On Coronavirus: “This Week, It’s Going To Get Bad”

(Washington, DC) — Surgeon General Jerome Adams has a somber message about the coronavirus: “This week, it’s going to get bad.” On NBC’s Today, Dr. Adams said Americans need to understand the seriousness of the pandemic and “stay home.” He noted that a lot of people think contracting the coronavirus “can’t happen to them.” There are more than 30-thousand confirmed cases of coronavirus in the U.S. and the death rate is nearing 500.
