Coronavirus: Emergency Powers Granted To Peoria, Springfield Mayors

(Undated) — Emergency powers were approved for the mayors of Springfield and Peoria by city councils on Tuesday because of the coronavirus pandemic. The powers include setting a curfew. The mayor of Springfield plans to follow up the move with a local state of emergency declaration today.
