More Than A Half Million People Infected With COVID-19 Coronavirus

(Baltimore, MD) — More than a half million people worldwide are infected with the COVID-19 coronavirus. Johns Hopkins researchers say about 23-thousand people have died. Italy is on the cusp of overtaking China for having the most infections. It is likely the U.S. will do so as well, and soon. There are more than 75-thousand confirmed cases of the virus in the U.S. More than a thousand people in the country have died. The number of U.S. cases is about five-thousand behind Italy, and only six-thousand from China’s total.
