Federal COVID-19 Response Funding Comes To Southern Illinois Health Centers
(Washington, DC) — Democratic Illinois Senators Dick Durbin and Tammy Duckworth say federal funding is coming to Illinois community health centers. Over three-and-a-half-million dollars in federal grants is being made available to 45 centers to aid in their response to COVID-19. The grants come from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services as part of the Coronavirus Preparedness and Response Supplemental Appropriations Act, signed March 6th.
