Amazon Stops Selling N95 Masks To Public, Prioritizing Hospitals

(Undated) — Amazon is no longer selling N95 masks to the public. The online retail giant said Thursday it will sell essential personal protective equipment, called PPE, only to hospitals and government agencies during the coronavirus pandemic. Amazon says it also is restricting the purchase of coronavirus diagnostic kits to make sure hospitals and agencies can get the testing supplies. An Amazon spokesman says lower volume products such as hand sanitizers and hand wipes continue to be available to the general public.
