IU Gets Green Light To Borrow One Billion-Dollars

(Bloomington, IN) — IU is ready to borrow a billion dollars to get through the coronavirus crisis. University trustees on Friday approved a request to borrow money to offset losses caused by the virus. IU spokesman Chuck Carney says the university is in good financial shape, and the billion dollars is a way to give the school and its employees some peace of mind.
