Macon County Fair
The Macon County Fair Board has voted to cancel the 2020 Macon County Fair, due to COVID-19. According to a post on their Facebook page, Fair Board President Gordon Moore said, “It wasn’t an easy decision to make but we need to follow the recommended guidelines at this time.”
The Macon County Fair in Decatur, had been scheduled for June 9 – June 14. It is one of the earliest fairs in the state. The fair board also announced the Macon County Fair dates for 2021, June 8 – 13.
