Three people suffered non-life threatening injuries in a crash on Route 40 west of Effingham last night. According to the Illinois State Police, 21-year-old Joshua Bobbitt, of Effingham claimed to be distracted when he cross the center line and struck a vehicle driven by 34-year-old Krystal Garrett, of Windsor head-on. Bobbitt was ticketed for improper lane usage and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.
