(Auburn Hills, MI) — A problem with windshield wiper arms has led to the recall of over 500-thousand Fiat Chrysler vehicles. The recall is for certain models of the 2019 and 2020 Ram 1500 pickups, the Classic 1500 pickup and the Jeep Compass. The majority of the vehicles in the recall are in the U.S. and Canada. Officials say the wiper arm can come loose and stop the wipers from operating. FCA says they have no reports of any accidents related to the problem. Owners who have a vehicle where the wipers don’t clean the windshield or return to the rest position should contact dealers.
