Man Arrested For Mattoon Arson
(Mattoon, IL) — A man is facing charges in connection with the arson of a building in Mattoon. Joseph Derixson was arrested Tuesday afternoon for allegedly setting a building on fire near South 14th Street and Essex Avenue. The building was damaged but not destroyed. Derixson has a previous conviction for arson and is currently on parole.
